PurpleStride will be hosting its annual Walk to End Pancreatic Cancer and hope you join their vibrant community of survivors, families, researchers and advocates by walking or running with them on June 2nd at Miller Park. We encourage you to get your own Corporate/Family team together!

About PurpleStride Milwaukee
Started from a determination to increase awareness for a disease that has touched so many personally, PurpleStride has been the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s most powerful vehicle for fundraising and awareness. Each year, more than 50 PurpleStride events happen across the country, congregating survivors, families, researchers, caregivers and others touched by pancreatic cancer, hoping to rewrite the future of this deadly disease.
Together they have raised more than $101 million for pancreatic cancer research and patient services through community events from 2008 to 2017. In 2008 the five-year survival rate was just 6 percent but since 2014 it has been raised to 9 percent. Purple ribbons don’t rewrite the future of pancreatic cancer. You do.
